Stacker and Reclaimer chutes are designed with careful consideration to the Luffing and Slewing movements of the boom conveyor.
Stacker chute head ends remain fixed at the feed conveyors head pulley while the chutes lower sections pivot around a horizontal & vertical axis allowing the chutes discharge to follow the movement of the boom conveyor during luffing and slewing.
Reclaimer chutes head ends pivot around the vertical axis following the boom conveyors head pulley throughout its slewing motion, while catering for the luffing movement of the head pulley. The Bottom sections of reclaimer chutes remain fixed along with the discharge conveyor.
In the case of a stacker reclaimer, both chutes are operated on an alternating basis, with the bottom section of the stacker chute allowing clearance for the return feed of material to the reclaimer chute.
Weba designed Stacker and reclaimer chutes maintain optimal flow control throughout the full range of the boom conveyors motions.
