Copper ore is an abrasive material, and transfer points that handle such materials need regular maintenance. With Weba Chute Systems, planned chute maintenance intervals are performed at reduced operating costs per ton. The Weba chutes require substantially less maintenance, and the design also eliminates the downtime associated with conventional chute design.
When designing solutions for the Copper industry, we take current and historical data into account to address the customer’s exact requirements. With this approach, we design a solution that is both appropriate for the application and correctly customised for the individual operation.
Our chutes systems are designed to convey impact material on surfaces that already contain material. A cascade system is introduced, creating what we call a ‘super flow’ effect. Each system is configured to control the direction, flow and velocity of the calculated volume and type of material processed in the application.
We continue to report considerable success in the copper sector with custom-engineered chute systems supplied to mines in South Africa and further afield.
